The Bay Area SAA fellowship is working hard to support the International Convention

It will be THREE days of recovery (speakers, workshops, meetings).
To support the convention, keep registration costs low, and make it an excellent experience for us, we collectively need to provide service and financial support for the Convention. The Convention Committee and Intergroup are asking each meeting to please 'pass the hat' one extra time each month from now through May 2018. Thanks to all who have provide support already: we have raised over $10,000 but we need to raise more.

Some of our fellows have offered $3,500 in matching grants that will be contributed if we reach at least $3500 through this fundraising effort. That money will be contributed to this Convention Fundraising effort if our meetings can collect at least that amount by the end of May 2018. Please help. Any amount is acceptable, $2 is suggested. We hope all meetings will cooperate with this important effort: it has been a vital part of the fundraising for recent SAA conventions.

Please send proceeds in an envelope addressed to 'Convention' c/o Howard C, 217 Dwight Road, Burlingame, CA, 94010. Checks should be made out to ISO of SAA with a note 'Convention'. Please send a check (or if you prefer, you can give cash to Howard C). Please send a check in December and in April if possible so we know how we are doing!

If you would like to help by making a 'matching grant' commitment, please contact Howard C at jhowardc@outlook.com
