2016 ANNUAL S.A.A. CAMPING TRIP ON AUGUST 26, 27, AND 28TH
Join us for a weekend of fellowship at the 16th annual Bay Area SAA High Sierra Camp Out. Come share a memorable camping experience with a program of recovery, including meetings around a campfire, workshops, great food and fellowship.
The Bear River Campground, off Hwy 88, is a group campground with 3 sites. The Chipmunk group site has been reserved exclusively for our use. The campground is adjacent to the Lower Bear River Reservoir and affords additional recreational opportunities including: hiking, biking, swimming, boating and fishing.
The Forest Service has restricted the site to a maximum of 25 campers and the event is open to SAA members only. So register early. The registration fee is $80.00, which covers the costs of reserving the campsite and purchasing firewood ($40.00) and meals for the weekend ($40.00). A limited number of scholarships will be available which will waive the campsite and firewood fee, but not the food costs. When you submit your registration fee, we will email you a confirmation letter, an overview of the campsite, driving directions and a suggested list of camping equipment to bring.
The Camping Committee is dedicated to bring you an amazing weekend and we hope you will join us.
You can look for registration flyers at your local meetings, or register on line using PayPal for a small processing fee at Register.

Intergroup Visioning and Budget Meetings coming up: Consider Joining us.
At the May meeting of Intergroup, we will be conducting our annual "visioning" exercise, imagining ways in which Intergroup could do more to help our local meetings, and carry the message. Please consider attending to share ideas you may have. In June the agenda will include our annual budgeting exercise, so if you have a proposal that would involve financial support form Intergroup, please consider attending that meeting. Intergroup meeting the second Saturday of the month at 11:15, so we will be meeting May 13 for Visioning, and the June 10 meeting will include the budget discussion. Lunch will be served at the May 13 meeting.
